Tracy Strawberry receives the Recovery Advocate Award

Tracy Strawberry, ordained Minister, author, co-founder of Strawberry Ministries, and wife of Darryl Strawberry, received the Recovery Advocate Award from Charles Davis, President of Behavioral Health Network Resources (BHNR), on June 24, 2015.

A keynote speaker at the week’s Addiction VIP Symposium in Ft. Lauderdale, Tracy delivered a heartfelt message of recovery from the many aspects of addiction.

“There is a solution and there is hope for someone like me,” Tracy shared to the audience, describing her previous struggles with addiction.  Fourteen years ago, she finally made the choice to put an end to substance abuse, which led to God “reconstructing” her from the inside out.  According to Tracy, recovery gave her life of a sense of purpose, and she decided to dedicate herself to freeing others from addiction. The way she freely gives back to those in need to make a difference in their lives was recognized during the event.
